ENTERPRISE RECORDS
sensitive to the needs of vinyl addicts since 1987
LOCATION
151 Park Street, Portland, ME 04101
For those who know our old spot, we're one block up the street, toward Longfellow Sq., on the other side of Congress.
For first-time customers, we’re right downtown on Congress St., the once-upon-a-time most prominent business street in our fair city. The Portland Museum of Art is a block away, and there are a number of good restaurants and a few good bookstores (two used, one new) within easy walking distance. Parking is hit-or-miss, but usually isn't too bad, especially if you don't mind walking a block or two when good records are involved!
Directions from the south: take Interstate 95 to exit 44 (I 295 / Downtown Portland). Exit I 295 at exit 5 (Congress St.) Congress St. goes up a long, steep hill (about 4 blocks) with a stoplight at the top of the hill (Bramhall St.). The next light is State St. (large statue of Longfellow at State St; Longfellow Square). We are just beyond State St., on the right-hand side of Congress.
Directions from the west: take Route 26 into Portland, where it becomes Congress St.. As it gets into town, Congress St. will pass under the viaduct for I 295, a few blocks further goes over some railroad tracks, then up a long, steep hill (about 4 blocks) with a stoplight at the top of the hill (Bramhall St.). The next light is State St. (large statue of Longfellow at State St; Longfellow Square). We are just beyond State St., on the right-hand side of Congress.
Directions from the north: take Interstate 295, getting off in Portland at exit 6A (Forest Ave. south). That will bring you into town (large park on the right, large post office on the left) up a hill (2 blocks). "T" intersection at the top of the hill is Congress St.. Turn right there, through the first light (High St.). We're just over a block past High St., on the left. If you get to the second light (State St.) you've gone too far.
